About solar

Outreach

Staff undertake outreach activities for the community, industry and government groups and schools.

Such outreach may take the form of presentations to government, public lectures, question & answers sessions, school visits, radio & TV programs, newspaper & magazine interviews, and tours through the solar facilities at ANU.

The purpose of the outreach is to transfer some of the knowledge gained by the centre staff over many years of research and industry experience to people with an interest in solar technologies.

Support for solar energy researchers

  • Do you wonder where solar energy scientists obtain their skills and knowledge?
  • Do you want to support environmentally benign solar energy technologies?

A solar energy endowment fund has been set up to provide bursaries, scholarships and prizes for honours, masters and summer scholars to encourage and support the next generation of solar energy engineers.

If you want to make a donation you should fill in the gift form (PDF, 43KB).
